Are there any delivery charges?

No, ICare hot and frozen meals are delivered FREE to your door.

Are your community assistants safe and trustworthy?

Yes, all our delivery personnel are checked to ensure they do not have a criminal record and are able to work with vulnerable people.  We also check they have good references. All our delivery personnel wear purple ICare polo shirts and purple fleece jackets and carry an Identification Badge to give you added reassurance that they are genuine ICare employees.  Much more than drivers, these friendly faces are a valuable social contact for isolated and vulnerable people. Trained and experienced in adult care-awareness they keep a constant eye on the welfare of our customers.  We are proud of the many tributes they receive from service users. 

Can I cook my meal and dessert in a microwave?

Yes.  The following instructions are based upon the use of a 750 Watt microwave with the glass turntable. Heating time should be reduced for higher powered, or increased for lower powered microwave ovens.  For both meals and desserts - take the meal and dessert straight from freezer, simply place in the microwave and follow cooking instructions on label.  Please Note. Heating instructions are meant as guide only.  Always make sure the food is piping hot before eating.

Can someone else order a meal on my behalf?

Yes, you can ask a member of your family to order meals for you and if you wish they can also pay for your meals.  If you ask a friend to help you with your order, we would advise you not to disclose your credit or debit card details to anyone.

Do you deliver hot and frozen meals?

Yes, You can chose from a range of tasty nutritious and satisfying hot or frozen foods.

Do you offer any special dietary meals?

Yes, ICare cater for customers with special dietary requirements including diabetic, low fat, low carbohydrate, reducing moderate salt, high-energy, gluten-free, lactose-free, easy-chew or pureed meals.  We also cater for customers who want their meals free of tomato, egg, onion and garlic. Does ICare supply ethnic or religious meals?

Yes, ICare offers a range of meals for customers with multi-cultural tastes in food.  We can supply a range of Halal, Kosher, Asian and Middle Eastern, Caribbean and African, Chinese, Polish and Greek meals.  If you cannot find what you require please ring 0845 604 1125 for further details.

How can I pay?

This website only accepts credit and debit cards.  However if you prefer to discuss other payment options such as cash, cheque or direct debit simply ring 0845 604 1125 and we can assist you.

How does ICare care for me?

Our service is not just about delivering good meals, it is about enabling people to maintain their independence at home.  ICare delivery personnel are not just drivers they are also trained in care service.  They can be relied on to help you make your menu choices and keep a friendly eye on your wellbeing and become a familiar face that visits you regularly.  Our delivery personnel are reliable, friendly and safe.  All our delivery personnel are carefully recruited and trained especially in adult care awareness and care skills.

How many days a week do you deliver?

ICare Cuisine delivers hot and frozen meals to you in your own home.  We provide a meal delivery service 7 days a week, 365 days a year and our meals meet the exacting National Association of Care Catering guidelines.

How much is the dessert?

A dessert is free with every meal.  You can choose a FREE sponge tart, pie, sponge cake, or crumble for your dessert.

How should I cook my frozen meals?

If you are using a gas or electric oven, first pre-Heat Oven to 345 F/180 C or Gas Mark4.  Then for a main course, just heat the meal from frozen. Leave the lid on and place the tray on a baking tray in the middle of pre-heated oven for 40-45 minutes.   When cooking desserts, heat the dessert from frozen. Leave the lid on and allow 20-25 minutes heating time.  If a meal and dessert are to be heated together, the meal can be placed in the oven and after 20 minutes the dessert can be put in with the meal for the remaining time, approximately 20-25 minutes.

If you are using a fan-assisted over, pre-heat oven to 300F/155C The meal will require 40 minutes cooking, the dessert 20 minutes.  If you wish to use a microwave oven please see the help topic for microwave cooking.  Please Note. How should I store my frozen foods?

If you choose frozen meals they will be delivered frozen. They should be placed in your freezer or freezer compartment in your refrigerator as quickly as possible. The delivery personnel will be happy to do this if you are unable to do this.

How will I know whether I have ordered my meals?

You will receive an email to confirm your order.

Is ICare accredited?

Yes, ICare is accredited with the Commission for Quality Care, Investors In People, the National Association of Care Caterers and the United Kingdom Homecare Association.

What about my privacy?

We respect your privacy but naturally to be able to deliver your meals we need certain details.  We will keep your details secure and not divulge them to anyone not authorised to see them.  For more details please see the privacy policy page.

What are your terms and conditions?

In common with any business, we do have to have certain terms and conditions so that we can meet and exceed your expectations and you know exactly what to expect.  This way you are guaranteed an excellent service.  For more details please see our terms and conditions page.

What if I cannot answer the door?

if you do not answer your door the delivery personnel will always check with a neighbour or family member to ascertain that all is well with you.  It is important that you let us have contact numbers for your neighbour or family member as well as your own.

What if I need help with this website?

What if I need some help with my meal delivery?

Our Community Assistants will put you Frozen Meals into your Freezer if you wish, or you can book our ICarePlus or Premium Service if extra help is required. Please call 0845 6041125 to book. 

What is the choice of meals?

Simply take a look at our ordering process and you will find a range of sliced meats, pies, casseroles, sausages, steakettes, vegetarian, fish and seafood main meals.  You will also be able to choose a FREE tart, sponge, pie or crumble dessert with every meal.

What time do you deliver?

Deliveries will be made within a two and a half hour window and ICare promote the fact that our customers can have their own individual menu choices.
